Hi. Remember me?

Hello world. It's been what....3 years since I checked in!? Yikes. I used to have so much fun writing little posts for this blog. Well I'm going to give it another go. It took too damn much time so I'm going to try and write more frequently and not as long. Those of you that know me well know I fill up the time allowed on your voice mail every time I call so chances of me "writing less" probably aren't so good.

I have a son! That's probably the coolest news since my last post. Banks is almost 15 months old now. He just started wabbly-walking and is growing up so fast. He looks just like me....which I think is super cool and he is about the sweetest quiet little angel of a guy you could ask for...again, just like his Daddy. I've had so much fun watching Annie with a boy. I think she finally "gets it" and understands why those girls have my heart all in knots and he's got hers all in knots. There's just something about "Daddy's girls" and "Mama's boys" that is a bond you can't explain.

Tatum is 5 and will start kindergarden in a few months. She's been an awesome little girl but does like to push her boundaries and make sure we're not going to let her get away with too much. Tinsley is just a crazy goof ball and always making me laugh. All the kids make me cry...I just think about them and turn weak.

We added a pig to our family at Christmas...a gift from Mr. Claus to Mrs. Claus that has been VERY exciting. We named her Peppa Pig and the kids love her...especially Banks. Annie and I can't look at Peppa without laughing. She just snorts all day when she sees you coming outside and gallops her little belly all the way from across the yard to the backdoor in hopes that you're going to feed her a tomato.

I bought a new car! kind of. a 1962 Cadillac Eldorado convertible. And yes....it's light purple. My father says the color is "casket rose". The car is hysterical. We should get it in the next week or so. My father in law, my father and I went to a car auction last weekend and just couldn't stomach coming home empty handed. Thus....the cadillac. We all bought it together and more than anything, we just hope it runs when it gets here. We didn't look at it before we bought it...we just saw it up there on the auction block and said "HELL YES!" I've made more expensive, dumber mistakes in my life so we'll see how this one plays out.

Well....I'll hold to my word here and close the post. I hope to be back sooner than 3 years and will do my best. Help hold me to it, would 'ya?

A few pics below so you can see the kiddos and the new Caddy too! I should have added Peppa...oh well. I'm sure she'll cause some mischief and be the center of attention in her own post soon...

So far behind...

I haven't updated in so long i'm afraid of how long a post I should write to bring you up to speed. My mother has turned verbally abusive towards my blog because I haven't updated anything. i'm afraid if I don't put something on here she may actually come after me with an axe.

Anne's out of town, in NYC for the weekend with her Mom. I've got the girls all to myself and we're having a BLAST. I was bummed because we were going to take the boat to dinner tonight but the battery was dead...typical I'm told, but the first time in 5 years of owning it that we've encountered that. We went to the newly updated skis hores and had a great time. Mom, Cole, Cross, Cannon and Mary joined us.

Don't worry about me, i'm not only surviving but I'm thriving. We had a non-stop day with errands to turn lights on at a listing, 2 runs to the bank, Chick-fil-a for lunch and 30 minutes on their play ground. A jaunt to the mall for a little cookie and a tempting outing to the Apple store for an upgraded computer (i'm out of space due to all my pictures and time for a new one!). Hoem for 2 hour naps then back at it again for dinner. Girls were in bed by 8:30 and 9:00 which isn't too bad for me...a little late but we had to do ice cream and spend about 20 minutes playing in the bubble bath...which is an excused absence as far as i'm concerned.

Funny side note...at the mall today Tatum said to me: "Daddy, I want to look at clothes." I told her we didn't have time and she stuttered and said "no, Daddy, no don't worry. I don't want to buy anything. I just want to look." WTF!? She's 3. This is so unfair. I dont' know where this comes from or who puts this in her head but I will absolutely go broke with these girls. I'll never be able to say no.

A few fun pics of the evening....
